Job summary

Scottsdale Unified School District is seeking an experienced journey-level trades professional to lead maintenance operations across facilities, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. The role requires supervision of staff, emergency response, and upkeep of blueprints and specifications.

The incumbent will perform repairs, installations, inspections, and documentation, while managing tools, supplies, and records.

Qualifications

Vocational degree and 4 years of specialized trades experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Arizona Driver’s License.
CFC; Pesticide Applicator License; Commercial Driver’s License, Class A; ASE Certifications; Licensure in a trade.

Responsibilities

Leads and supervises lower level staff, assigns work, and participates in performance evaluations.
Repairs and/or regulates district buildings, systems, facilities, and/or grounds; responds to emergencies and safety concerns.
Installs, modifies, or repairs various materials, fixtures, and equipment.
Inspects facilities and ensures periodic servicing of systems and equipment.
Prepares and maintains work orders and reviews drawings, blueprints, and related records.
Maintains and purchases supplies, equipment, tools, and vehicles.
