Job summary

Fluidstack seeks a senior engineer to own and lead the facilities telemetry platform across its fleet. You will design ingestion, storage, and APIs used by operations, ML, and controls teams, ensuring robust, scalable telemetry at scale.

You will set data standards, enforce quality at the edge, and guide a small team through the toughest technical challenges, while pushing velocity and ownership in a frontier AI compute environment.

Qualifications

• Built or led time-series or telemetry platforms at industrial or fleet scale.
• Designed ingestion that supported field protocols: BACnet, Modbus, OPC UA.
• Set data standards that persisted across teams and sites.
• Platforms operated with defined SLAs and mature operational processes.
• Led from the front of the codebase.

Responsibilities

• Lead the facilities telemetry platform across the fleet, unifying sensors, meters and controllers.
• Own the ingestion, time-series storage, and APIs used by operations, ML, and controls teams.
• Set data standards for naming, units and quality enforcement at the edge.
• Lead a small team while addressing the most challenging technical pieces.
