RTX’s Enterprise Services Facilities Team seeks a Lead Facilities Technician – Plumbing in Goleta, CA to ensure reliable operation of building systems in mechanical rooms, offices, labs, and clean rooms. You will maintain water scrubbers, boilers, compressors, hydronic piping, and water systems.

You will lead preventive maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and drive safety compliance while executing small projects to meet site goals; strong lifting capability is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of corporate facilities maintenance or related industrial experience.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent 2-year education/certification.
• 5+ years in plumbing and process piping, including water scrubbers and domestic/industrial water.
• 5+ years servicing large air/water-cooled chillers, environmental-control systems, pump systems, compressed air, vacuum systems, and cooling towers.
• 5+ years working with water distribution systems such as pumps and RO units.
• Active California state driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 40‑50 lbs.
• Familiarity with MS Office, building automation, and control programs.
• Experience working under OSHA and RTX safety policies.

In this role you will ensure the reliable and consistent operation of building systems for mechanical rooms, offices, labs, clean rooms, and support areas, including water scrubbers, boilers, compressors, vacuum pumps, hydronic piping, and domestic waste and water systems.

• Physical ability to lift 40‑50 lbs.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and general knowledge of small hand tools.
• Familiarity with MS Office Business Suite, building automation, and control programs.
• Experience working under OSHA and RTX safety policies.

Compensation

Salary range: $66,000 – $125,400 USD.
