Job summary

Taleo is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Engineer Lead to oversee maintenance of hotels/casinos/resorts and commercial buildings in Reno, NV. The role requires managing a team of engineers, coordinating shifts, and ensuring rapid response to emergencies.

Responsibilities include planning preventive maintenance, inventory control, and documentation via CMMS HotSoS, while maintaining safety and quality standards across mechanical and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Must have 5 years' experience as building maintenance engineer in a hotel/casino/resort or equivalent, covering electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, pneumatic, hydraulic, and related systems.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as Lead Engineer or acting lead capacity/equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all building/tower grounds systems and equipment, including repairs of electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, pneumatic, hydraulic, equipment and appliances.
• Maintain stock and inventory materials.
• Observe performance of Engineers and encourage improvement.
• Assign/distribute keys, radio and job assignments daily, coordinate work plan and apply standard maintenance practices.
• Respond to accident scenes, emergency calls (fire, smoke, etc.).
• Maintain daily record of work requests via CMMS HotSoS.
