• Lead over inmates or staff in semi-skilled and skilled maintenance repair work (electrical, carpentry, plumbing, grounds)
• Perform maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities
• Inspect buildings and equipment for needed repairs or replacements
• Conduct preventive maintenance and respond to emergencies
• Supervise inmate movement and conduct searches when security is suspected
