Qualifications

• Must read and interpret fabrication drawings and shop blueprints.
• Five+ years of fabrication experience in structural steel or related metal work.
• Proficient with common fabrication equipment and hand tools.
• Strong understanding of fabrication techniques, tolerances, and material properties.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to meet specifications.
• Measure, cut, fit, and assemble materials to specification.
• Operate shop equipment and prepare materials for welding, machining, or finishing.
• Inspect finished components and ensure quality before release.
• Assist with shop production scheduling and maintain safe work environment.
• Maintain equipment and keep clean, organized work area.
