Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our manufacturing team in Houston. You will work with fabrication shop equipment to produce components per customer specifications, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

Typical duties include reading drawings, setting up machines, inspecting parts with gauges, and coaching junior fabricators. A HS diploma or GED and 4–6 years of fabrication experience are preferred. Safety compliance and teamwork are essential in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred; 4–6 years in fabrication
• Experience with fabrication shop equipment and metalworking
• Ability to lead and train junior fabricators

Responsibilities

• Examine order specs from drawings to determine finished item characteristics and setup
• Fabricate pieces per work order specifications and retrieve materials
• Inspect pieces visually or with gauges to ensure quality
• Follow safety policies and procedures
• Coach and train junior fabricators
• Perform other duties as assigned
