Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts seeks a Food & Beverage Supervisor for Arnie's Lakeside | Barton Creek Country Club at Lakeside to oversee dining service and beverage operations at Barton Creek Lakeside in Spicewood, TX. You will lead staff, monitor guest satisfaction, and ensure smooth service during peak hours.

The role requires strong knowledge of menus/beverage offerings, staff training, and the ability to manage shifts, inventory, and guest feedback in a fast-paced resort setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• 1 year of experience in Food and Beverage supervision or management role preferred.
• Must have Texas Food Handlers and TABC certifications.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, in writing and verbally.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
• Prior serving and cash handling experience preferred.
• Flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Understanding of F&B financials including cost and par controls is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures and accident prevention.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, with scheduling varying to Club needs.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including uniform and name tag.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, cleanliness and guest well-being.
• Maintain familiarity with menus and beverage offerings.
• Ensure staff complete side work checklists for dining room.
• Spot check liquor pars and order daily supplies.
• Monitor food and liquor requisitions and food waste.
• Check bar controls, shot glass use, red lining, and bottles nearly empty.
• Hold pre-shift meetings and ensure department training requirements are met monthly.
• Follow up on established training steps.
• Handle guest comments and complaints and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Communicate with guests and receive feedback.
• Stay on the floor during peak hours and supervise service.
• Observe, teach and correct staff’s service in a professional manner.
• Examine food preparation and beverage presentation.
• Assist manager in scheduling and forecasting weekly/monthly.
• Participate in interviewing/recruiting as needed.
• Assist in monthly MOS audits.
• Prepare maintenance requests and follow-up.
• Maintain knowledge of the resort property and events.
• Participate in department meetings and other required training.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by restaurant management.
