Job summary

GMRE is a small veteran-owned company seeking an experienced F-16 maintenance professional to lead and perform maintenance on F-16 aircraft. You will mentor junior technicians, ensure airworthiness, and coordinate with teams to minimize downtime.

Requirements include 5+ years in F-16 maintenance, active SECRET clearance, and ability to work in challenging conditions. The role emphasizes safety, proper documentation, and adherence to FAA and OEM data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of F-16 maintenance experience, Level 7 preferred.
• A&P license is beneficial but not required; military training on F-16 is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of F-16 airframe systems, powerplants, hydraulics, flight controls, and avionics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections, servicing, and maintenance on F-16 aircraft, ensuring airworthiness and operational readiness.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and flight control systems.
• Perform scheduled phase maintenance, launch and recovery operations, and component replacements as required.
• Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic equipment to assess and repair aircraft discrepancies.
• Document maintenance actions accurately in the aircraft maintenance tracking system.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, OEM data, and company policies.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
• Train and provide technical guidance to junior technicians and support personnel.
• Maintain safety and follow established procedures to prevent injuries.
