Job summary

GMRE is seeking an experienced F-16 maintenance professional to perform and oversee scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on F-16 aircraft.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive hands-on experience with F-16 airframe systems, propulsion, and flight controls, plus leadership skills to mentor junior technicians and coordinate maintenance activities with teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in F-16 maintenance (prefer Level 7 Craftsman).
• A&P license preferred but not required; prior military training on F-16 highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of F-16 airframe systems, powerplants, hydraulics, flight controls, avionics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections, servicing, and maintenance on F-16 aircraft to ensure airworthiness.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and flight control systems.
• Perform scheduled phase maintenance, launch/recovery, and component replacements as required.
• Utilize manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools to diagnose aircraft discrepancies.
