Job summary

Phxpkg is seeking an experienced Extrusion Supervisor to lead standard extrusion process setups and drive process improvements for quality and efficiency. You will supervise operators, monitor line performance, and ensure adherence to GMP and safety standards.

The role requires 5+ years in plastic extrusion environments, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to train personnel. This is a full-time on-site position located in Indiana, offering growth opportunities and structured safety

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills needed.
• Basic computer skills required for ERP and documentation.
• Safety training and awareness are essential for daily operations.
• Scissor Lift training and license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead extrusion process setups and staffing for consistent output.
• Monitor and adjust temperatures, speeds, and blends to maintain quality.
• Train and develop extrusion staff; ensure GMP and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with maintenance for equipment reliability and process improvements.
• Prepare and document setup sheets, run data, and quality records.
