Job summary

Polymer Resources in Rochester, NY is seeking a line operator to join our production team at the Rochester facility. You will help operate extrusion lines (single and twin-screw) and support the safety, quality, and efficiency goals that keep our customers satisfied.

You will lead and coach teammates, monitor equipment performance, and adjust process settings to meet specifications. The role demands strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work under deadlines in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Must have good communication and be able to write reports.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Extrusion experience with twin-screw extrusion is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the production team to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Operate single and twin-screw extrusion lines and related subsystems.
• Ensure safe operations of personnel and equipment.
• Monitor production quality and adjust process settings to meet specifications.
• Manage multiple tasks under deadlines and adapt workload as needed.
• Liaise between Plant Manager and line operators; enforce plant policies.
