Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing, lumber, or building materials.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead a diverse team.
• Knowledge of production operations, safety standards, and quality control.
• Ability to read measurements and perform basic math.
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 pounds and assist on the floor.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain company certification.
• Hands-on, organized, and team-oriented management style.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team responsible for material processing, loading/unloading, and job staging operations.
• Plan and coordinate daily production schedules to meet targets.
• Monitor workflow and productivity, ensuring consistent output and adherence to company standards.
• Promote and enforce safety policies and DOT compliance.
• Track employee hours and timecards.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges through proactive communication and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with Sales, Logistics, Purchasing, etc., to optimize workflow and customer outcomes.
