Job summary

Contract Lumber in Clinton, SC is seeking an EWP Production Manager to oversee daily operations in the manufacturing and materials processing area. The role focuses on leading, coaching, and developing teams to maintain safety, efficiency, and high performance while ensuring customer satisfaction and product quality.

The candidate will plan daily production schedules, manage hours, and coordinate with Sales, Logistics, and Purchasing to optimize workflows.

Qualifications

Proven leadership experience in manufacturing or building materials.
Ability to read measurements and perform basic math.
Commitment to safety policies and procedures.
Strong communication and teamwork to coordinate with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team responsible for material processing, loading/unloading, and job staging operations.
Plan and coordinate daily production schedules to meet targets.
Monitor workflow and productivity, ensuring consistent output and adherence to company standards.
Promote and enforce safety policies, ensuring compliance with all safety training and procedures.
Track employee hours and timecards.
Identify and resolve operational challenges through proactive communication and problem-solving.
Collaborate with Sales, Logistics, Purchasing, and other departments to optimize workflow and customer outcomes.
Perform quality checks on all incoming and outgoing manufactured products.
