Job summary

Medical City Mental Health and Wellness Center Frisco, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Lead EVS Technician to supervise housekeeping staff and ensure clean, orderly hospital conditions. You will assign shifts, monitor performance, and train new staff while coordinating linen, supplies, and equipment handling.

Responsibilities include maintaining floors and rooms, communicating with patients and staff to resolve issues, and upholding Code of Conduct and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a hospital housekeeping role preferred.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Supervises EVS staff work activities to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive conditions of the hospital.

Makes staff assignments and delegates work requests. Starts each shift ensuring coverage of all assignments/units.

Monitors staff performance, correcting and retraining as necessary. Reports concern to manager.

Trains all new EVS staff.

Assists with interviewing, hiring, coaching, and evaluation activities as directed.

Communicates with customers to resolve problems

Orders linen and maintains linen room. Collects and transport clean and soiled linen.

Orders supplies and maintains supply room.

Maintains buildings by performing such tasks as high/low dusting, toilet and shower cleaning and sanitizing, making beds, window cleaning, cafeteria clean up, cleaning walls and removing trash

Maintains floors by mopping, buffing, shampooing, vacuuming, and sweeping; may be required to strip and wax floors

Cleans, sanitizes and stores equipment according to the procedure

Adheres to hospital policies and procedures

Demonstrates an understanding of and adherence to the Code of Conduct

Conduct reflects the Company’s values and a commitment to the Code of Conduct

Performs other duties as requested or required

What qualifications you will need:

• Prefer two years’ experience in a housekeeping capacity in a hospital and / or healthcare facility.
