Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Lead EVS Housekeeper to support daily environmental services in a fast-paced hospital setting in Palmdale, CA. The role includes staff scheduling, task assignments, coaching and hands-on training to maintain clean, safe facilities for patients, visitors and staff.

As the shift's primary EVS contact, you will coordinate with leadership to deliver timely, compliant services and perform EVS technician duties as needed.

Qualifications

• One-year housekeeping experience in a hospital setting.

• Assists EVS management in day-to-day operations including staff scheduling, job assignments, performance management and training.
• Acts as primary contact for all Environmental Service needs during the shift.
• Ensures EVS services are provided timely, consistent and collaborative while following standards and procedures.
• Also performs the duties of an EVS technician.

Lead EVS Housekeeper

Assists EVS management in the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping services including but not limited to staff scheduling, job assignments, performance management, and training. Functions as a primary contact for all Environmental Service needs during the shift. Ensure that EVS services are provided in a timely, consistent and collaborative manner while ensuring standards and procedures are followed. Also performs the duties of an EVS technician.

Qualifications

Job Duties/Responsibilities Requirements:

• One-year housekeeping experience in a hospital setting required
• Written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills.
• Basic organizational and computer skills.
• CPI is required within 30 days of hire
