Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center in Palmdale, CA is seeking a dedicated hospital housekeeper to maintain a clean, sanitary and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. Daily tasks include cleaning patient rooms, discharge areas, restrooms and non-patient areas.

The ideal candidate will have prior housekeeping experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and CPI certification within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills.
• Basic organizational and computer skills.
• CPI is required within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Performs general housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, sanitary, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Cleans daily patient rooms, discharge areas, restrooms, non-patient areas and public spaces following prescribed procedures.
• Distributes linen to appropriate areas.
