Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking an Environmental Services Housekeeper to maintain clean, sanitary hospital areas and support patient care. Reporting to the Director of Environment Services, you will follow standard cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a welcoming and hygienic environment.

This role emphasizes teamwork with clinical and administrative staff, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand English for essential job functions.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning procedures in all assigned hospital areas in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner.
• Maintain courteous relations with medical staff, patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
• Complete special projects and maintain cleanliness of equipment care and storage areas.

Environmental Services Housekeeper

Reporting to the Director of Environment Services and/or designated supervisors, the EVS Housekeeper will ensure the cleanliness and sanitization of all applicable hospital departments.

Essential Job Duties

Primary duties include performing cleaning procedures in all assigned areas throughout the hospital in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner. Maintaining courteous and considerate relations with the medical staff, administrative staff, hospital patients, visitors, and other hospital employees. Completing special projects throughout the hospital as assigned. Maintaining cleanliness and neatness of equipment care and storage areas.

Qualifications

Education/Training/Experience

• Must have the ability to interpret and communicate/read/understand in English in written and verbal material to perform essential job functions
• High school education or equivalent preferred
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred
