Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia seeks a Lead EVS Associate for Einstein Main on the night shift. You will coordinate Environmental Services staff, ensuring cleanliness and safety and compliance with EPA/OSHA regulations. The role supports hospital operations and patient safety.

Preferred qualifications include a High School diploma and 6 months to 1 year of healthcare housekeeping experience. Rotating weekends and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with EPA/OSHA regulations preferred.

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment in assigned areas by following departmental policies and procedures.

Fills in for and/or assists supervisor to maintain standards of safety, cleanliness and orderliness.**Job Description*** Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.* Establishes and maintains clean, sanitary, and safe environment in assigned work areas by following departmental policies and procedures (20%)* Proper disposal of biohazards according to EPA and OSHA codes and regulations. Handle the disposal of environmental Contaminants such as: batteries, thermometers (mercury), and needles.* Keep biohazard food and loading area safe and clean of debris. (20%)* Maintains equipment, clean carts, buckets, floor machines, other equipment, and supply closets to give the hospital a professional appearance. (20%)* Must comply with established personal protective equipment requirements necessary for protection against exposure to blood and other potentially infectious body fluids, chemical disinfectants, radiation, and other hazardous substances.
