Job summary

Wild Dunes Resort seeks an experienced Event Planning Manager to lead planning and execution of group meetings, conferences, weddings, and special events. You will serve as the primary client liaison and coordinate with Sales, F&B, Banquets, and other departments to deliver memorable guest experiences.

The role requires a bachelor's degree, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple events with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Full-time management position with schedule flexibility including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Business or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in Event Planning or Hospitality management required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of assigned group events from turnover through post-event follow-up.
• Serve as primary liaison between clients and resort operations to ensure accurate execution.
• Develop and maintain event documentation: banquet event orders, rooming lists, agendas, diagrams, resumes.
• Build relationships with meeting planners, clients, vendors, and resort partners.
• Conduct property tours, planning meetings, and site inspections to showcase facilities.
