Job summary

The Tidal Financial Group in Chicago area is seeking an AVP of Trading and Portfolio Management to lead ETF portfolios, implement strategies, and oversee day-to-day trading activities.

The role requires strong market knowledge, quantitative skills, and a proven track record in risk-adjusted portfolio management; proximity to Chicago or nearby preferred; collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ETF or trading experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• Advanced Excel skills; VBA and Bloomberg/Python are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage ETF portfolios and act as liaison with clients.
• Provide trade execution and portfolio monitoring support.
• Perform day-to-day portfolio reconciliation.
• Collaborate with trading team on trades, rebalances, and ETF baskets.
• Prepare quarterly portfolio reports for oversight and regulatory filings.
• Ensure compliance with firm policies and portfolio management procedures.
