Michael Page represents a leading commercial construction contractor in the Kansas City market. They seek a Lead Estimator / Preconstruction Manager to drive estimating, preconstruction, and business development in collaboration with leadership, project managers, and operations teams.

The role requires strong estimating, bid strategy, and client development skills with experience across hard bid, negotiated, and design-build projects. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Responsabilités

• Lead estimating and preconstruction efforts from conceptual budgeting through final proposal.
• Review plans, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Participate in regular collaboration meetings with project managers, estimators, and sales teams.
• Visit project sites to evaluate existing conditions and support estimating efforts.
• Develop budgets, value engineering solutions, and pricing strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate bid solicitation efforts and analyze subcontractor proposals.
• Follow up with clients throughout the bidding process and support business development initiatives.
• Help identify new project opportunities and contribute to company growth.

Job Description

• Lead estimating and preconstruction efforts from conceptual budgeting through final proposal.
• Review plans, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Participate in regular collaboration meetings with project managers, estimators, and sales teams.
• Visit project sites to evaluate existing conditions and support estimating efforts.
• Develop budgets, value engineering solutions, and pricing strategies.
