Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a proactive Estimator for commercial construction projects in the United States. This role focuses on preparing detailed cost estimates, reviewing drawings, and performing quantity takeoffs to support competitive bids and successful project handoffs.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years of estimating experience with a commercial contractor, strong knowledge of construction methods, and proficiency with estimating and takeoff software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Experience with ground-up commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project sequencing.
• Proficient in estimating and takeoff software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals for commercial construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.
• Assist with budgeting, conceptual estimating, and preconstruction planning.
