Job summary

Core & Main LP is a leading distributor specializing in water, wastewater, storm drainage and fire protection products nationwide. The company seeks a Senior Estimator Lead to drive the department's estimating efforts, direct estimators, and provide guidance on projects.

You will organize and price equipment, materials and labor, develop cash flow calculations, and prepare cost estimates and quotes for new work, while coordinating estimates on continuations and fostering key subcontractor

Qualifications

• Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline; MS/MA may reduce experience requirement.
• 5-8 years of experience in related field; certification is required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Directs the scope by organizing and pricing equipment, material, and labor cost items in estimates.
• Directs the development of cash flow, escalation and interest calculations for estimates.
• Gathers, calculates and compiles data for conceptual/hard bid estimates.
• Prepares cost estimates and price quotes on new work.
• Coordinates the preparation of cost estimates on project continuations.
