Job summary

Central Business Solutions, Inc. seeks a Senior Estimator with extensive GC estimating experience for commercial projects across a range of sectors.

You will lead bids from conceptual budgeting through final submission, manage subcontractor pricing, and coordinate with operations after award. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in commercial construction estimating, strong reading of blueprints/specs, and proven ability to handle 4–5 active projects while mentoring junior estimators.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual, budget, hard bid and cost analyses for proposals.
• Solicit subcontractor pricing, review scopes, and level bids.
• Lead bid strategy, prepare bid proposals, and manage the bid submission process.

Must-Have Experience:

• 7+ years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• Experience leading estimates from conceptual budgeting through final bid submission.
• Proven experience managing the entire bid process, including subcontractor solicitation, scope review, leveling, and bid evaluation.

    • Restaurants
    • Schools
    • Car dealerships
    • Office buildings
    • Retail spaces
    • Ground-up construction
    • Multi-family or multi-unit housing

Technical Skills:

• Strong blueprint and specification reading skills.

Senior Estimator or Lead Estimator with commercial GC experience who has managed the complete estimating lifecycle, developed bid strategies, coordinated subcontractor pricing, performed conceptual and hard bid estimating, and successfully delivered estimates for restaurants, schools, retail, office, dealership, multifamily, and ground-up construction projects.
