Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking an experienced Lead Estimator in Westminster, CO, to develop accurate proposals for private and public sector projects. You will analyze data, review drawings, and coordinate with field teams to ensure competitive and timely bids.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of estimating support, 4+ years in estimating, and strong knowledge of MS Office, AGTEK Take-off, and Primavera scheduling. Federal project experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, business administration, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of construction estimating support or related experience.
• 4+ years estimating experience; federal experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and compile estimate data for labor, materials, equipment, and location.
• Review drawings, specs, and site conditions to finalize estimates.
• Develop bid strategies, assess risks, and present to senior management.
• Communicate estimate details to field operations at pre-construction meetings.
