Job summary

ConstructionExecs is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to prepare competitive bids and analyze project documents for infrastructure projects in the United States. You will develop pricing strategies and support successful delivery by coordinating with operations, project management, vendors, and field teams.

Responsibilities include leading the estimating team, ensuring SOP compliance, producing labor, materials, and OH cost estimates, and guiding handover and cost-tracking

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading estimating teams on infrastructure projects.
• Ability to prepare complete cost estimates for labor, materials, and overhead.
• Strong documentation and SOP compliance for estimating processes.
• Experience with field takeoffs and site visits to validate bids.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimating team to track, prepare, and submit complete estimates.
• Follow SOPs for estimating and cost control.
• Develop and prepare cost estimates for labor, materials and overhead per project.
• Prepare bills of material for use by construction, purchasing and accounting.
• Attend pre-bid and bid meetings with the construction team.
• Participate in site visits and pre-bid meetings as needed.
• Perform field takeoffs and evaluations for project estimates.
• Review project documents for accuracy and consistency.
• Lead development of handover documents for the project team.
• Support cost tracking throughout the project lifecycle.

The Role

Core Responsibilities

• Estimate Management: Manage estimating team to track, prepare, and submit complete estimates
• SOP Compliance: Follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for Estimating
• Cost Estimates: Develop and prepare complete cost estimates for Labor, Materials, OH per project
• Material Bills: Prepare bills of material and other information for use by Construction, Purchasing and Accounting
• Bid Meetings: Attend pre-bid and pre-con meetings with Construction
• Site Visits: Participate in site visits and pre-bid meetings as needed
• Field Takeoffs: Perform field take-offs/evaluations for project estimate preparation
• Document Review: Review project documents for accuracy and consistency
