Job summary

Mi-Jack Products in the United States is seeking a Lead Erection Technician to lead large-scale field projects at customer sites, including ports and rail yards, overseeing assembly and installation of intermodal equipment.

You will read schematics, diagnose and repair complex systems, perform preventative maintenance, ensure safety, and travel up to 90% with overnight stays, including obtaining an E-Rail clearance where required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years of heavy equipment field experience with gantry cranes preferred.
• Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical assemblies knowledge.
• Crane signaling experience.
• Ability to travel up to 90% with overnight stays.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead assembly and installation of intermodal heavy equipment at customer sites.
• Oversee and manage large-scale projects at ports and rail yards.
• Read and interpret complex electrical and hydraulic schematics to diagnose and repair.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections following OEM specs.
• Serve as primary point of contact for customer equipment requests.
• Uphold safety and obtain E-Rail clearance; travel up to 90%.
