Job summary

micro1 is seeking a seasoned equity research professional to contribute to datasets for advanced financial analysis, modeling, and sector insights. You will apply your domain knowledge to train AI systems, with no prior AI experience required; your research quality and financial expertise are what matter.

Responsibilities include reviewing earnings data, benchmarking insights, developing investment theses, and delivering concise written evaluations of revenue, margins, cash flow, and valuation

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in equity research with ownership of models and written notes.
• Ability to connect business drivers to financial outcomes and valuation.
• Experience covering multiple companies through earnings cycles.

Responsibilities

• Review, assess, and contribute to datasets modeling real-world equity research analysis.
• Analyze earnings reports, perform estimate revisions, and synthesize benchmarking insights for AI training.
• Deliver written evaluations of company models, including revenue, margin, cash flow and valuation drivers.
• Produce concise research summaries and event-driven updates based on sector expertise.
• Develop and articulate investment theses linking qualitative and quantitative factors.
• Identify industry trends, sector metrics, and company catalysts relevant for fundamental analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide feedback on data quality and enhance research content.
