Job summary

Northland is seeking a senior equity research professional to lead coverage for a defined industry, delivering actionable investment insights to institutional clients. You will build robust valuation models, author comprehensive reports, and maintain strong relationships with corporate management and buy-side investors to elevate the firm’s equities platform.

Qualifications

• Experience in sell-side or buy-side equity research.
• FINRA SIE, 7, 63, 86, and 87 licenses.
• B.A. preferably in Accounting, Economics or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Cover a universe of 15–20+ public companies and analyze earnings, industry trends & SEC filings.
• Build and maintain financial models and databases for ratings and price targets.
• Write regular research notes, primers, and initiations of coverage for internal clients.
• Recommend ideas to institutional investors and the sales team.
• Develop relationships with C-suite execs and Investor Relations teams.
