Job summary

Maryland Environmental Service has immediate openings for a full-time heavy equipment operator at the Cox Creek Dredged Material Containment Facility and the Cox Creek Sediment Technology and Reuse Facility. Positions range from EO Trainee to Lead EO, with opportunities to travel to different sites across northern Anne Arundel County and Baltimore City, Maryland.

EO Trainee to Lead EO offer salary ranges based on experience, comprehensive health benefits, and paid leave.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from high school or GED.
• Ability to pass a standard physical examination.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with fewer than 5 points.
• EO/SEO/LEO classifications require increasing years of applicable experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate off-road dump trucks, dozers, excavators and other heavy equipment, and dewatering pumps.
• Training will be provided as needed.
• May require evening and weekend work periodically.
