Work requires heavy physical exertion and effort. Forces exerted are equivalent to lifting between 25 and 50 pounds.

The City of Peoria is searching for an energetic, self-driven person to join the Solid Waste Division.
This position will have direct contact with City staff across all departments and divisions, as well as residents, schools, and other municipalities and businesses.
The purpose of this position is to provide technical advice and act as a lead to Equipment Operators.
Duties include but are not limited to performing a wide variety of advanced and specialized duties, providing technical guidance, assigning and monitoring work, and assisting staff with complicated and difficult assignments.
The position will provide customer service support to internal and external customers, as well as the citizens of the City of Peoria.
