FormFactor, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Engineer III to lead complex equipment projects across semiconductor wafer fabrication, assembly, and test environments.

You will drive reliability, uptime, and process alignment while mentoring junior engineers. You’ll own equipment qualification, preventive/predictive maintenance, and performance optimization, partnering with cross‑functional teams to reduce costs, improve throughput, and expand manufacturing capacity.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or equivalent combination of experience.
• 5+ years of related experience; or 3 years with a Master’s; or PhD with experience.
• Willing to work in Farmers Branch, TX.

Aufgaben

• Lead installation, startup, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment.
• Own lifecycle of tools and set long-term equipment strategies.
• Develop qualification plans and production-ready criteria.
• Diagnose complex issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform root-cause analysis and data-driven decisions.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions for reliability.
• Create preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
• Use analytics and monitoring to improve uptime.
• Manage spare parts strategies and vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with Process, Manufacturing, Quality, EHS, and Supply Chain.
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship.
