Responsibilities

• Models and enforces Sunbelt safety procedures.
• Oversees hiring, training, and coaching of dispatch staff.
• Manages team workload and safety/performance.
• Oversees dispatch of equipment across the market.
• Coordinates transfers of equipment and consumables.
• Creates and monitors driver schedules.
• Ensures timely creation/closing of rental contracts.
• Reviews driver logs per DOT standards.
• Ensures daily truck inspections are done per DOT standards.
• Maintains safe, courteous operation per policy.
• Collaborates with stores to meet equipment needs.
• Handles internal/external customer complaints professionally.
• Reports issues to supervisor and follows up for resolution.
• Provides feedback to Counter/Service on delivery/receipt of equipment.
• Minimizes driver on-yard time in coordination with dispatch and branches.
