Job summary

CACI is seeking a Chief EO/IR Architect Engineer to lead the development of optical/electronic EO/IR systems from pre‑proposal activities through final design, manufacturing, integration, verification and delivery. You will provide technical direction and coordinate with integrated product teams of varying sizes.

Qualifications

  • Decompose complex EO/IR systems into logical building blocks and establish traceability of requirements.
  • Define top-level system architecture including optical/electronic design and onboard processing.
  • Develop CONOPS and perform system design trades.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and interface with customers throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee project-specific engineering teams in design development of EO/IR systems.
  • Evaluate customer requirements and help identify opportunity spaces for future contracts.
  • Define and lead system design trades and architecture decisions.
  • Interface with customers as the lead technical representative across the product lifecycle.
  • Guide program teams and decompose system requirements to lower-level assemblies.
  • Prepare and present for design reviews and customer meetings.
  • Define and lead internal R&D projects.
