Job summary

UVMMC is seeking a Lead Environmental Services Worker to oversee the cleaning and overall appearance of patient care and public areas during the evening shift. You will supervise staff on a single shift in the absence of a Supervisor and coordinate routine assignments across Environmental Services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of Level III program within one year of entry into the Lead role.
• Experience in a health care setting with Environmental Services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning duties of patient care areas, work areas, and public spaces.
• Supervise staff for one shift in the absence of a Supervisor.
• Coordinate and assist with routine assignments and Environmental Services activities.
• Maintain and update staffing schedules, training requirements and PM project list.
• Ensure daily quality by communicating with department customers.
