Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Lead EVS Technician for Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, GA. This full-time role (days) runs 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and supervises a staff of 25+ in housekeeping, laundry and linen tasks.

Responsibilities include ensuring sanitation compliance, maintaining public areas, and developing infection control policies. The position requires hospital housekeeping experience and familiarity with Joint Commission requirements and sanitizers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hospital housekeeping experience.
• Familiarity with Joint Commission requirements preferred.
• Familiarity with chemical sanitizers and general housekeeping functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction and equity for and in dealing with all employees.
• Create an effective and cohesive working relationship with department staff, Department Heads, hospital staff and the public.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for sanitation for patients, guests and employees.
• Ensure public areas are properly sanitized to project a strong, positive image.
• Develop policy and procedure to ensure infection control and sanitation standards.
• Coordinate rental linen and uniform efforts; provide multi-disciplinary support services.
• Participate in employee awareness and education.

Overview

The Lead EVS Technician performs a variety of housekeeping, laundry and linen task, requiring strong supervisory skills. Effectively supervise a staff of 25 or more employees.
