Prime Healthcare is seeking an Environmental Services Technician at Dallas Regional Medical Center– Mesquite, TX. The EVS Tech ensures a safe, clean, and disinfected environment by cleaning patient rooms, operating rooms, and common areas to prevent infections.

Responsibilities include waste disposal, restocking supplies, maintaining floors and surfaces, and responding to urgent cleaning needs. Full-time Days shift with benefits offered.

Qualifications

• One year of knowledge within acute care hospital environmental service techniques is preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Must read, understand and communicate effectively.

• Properly dispose of medical and hazardous waste according to hospital protocols.
• Restock supplies like gloves, masks, and cleaning materials in various hospital areas.

• Respond to urgent cleaning needs such as spills or contamination incidents and communicate promptly using radio devices.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness within the hospital and adjacent buildings.

We are seeking anEnvironmental Services Technician, also referred to asa EVSTech or Hospital Housekeeper.The EVS Techensures a safe and healthy environment by cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, operating rooms, andcommon areasto prevent infection.The EVS Tech willhandle waste disposal, restock supplies,maintainfloors and surfaces, and respond to urgent cleaning needs.

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, operating rooms, andcommon areasto prevent the spread of infections

• Properly disposing of medical and hazardous waste according to hospital protocols

• Restock supplies like gloves, masks, and cleaning materials in various hospital areas

• Clean andmaintainfloors, restrooms, and other surfaces using specialized equipment and chemicals

• Respond to urgent cleaning needs such as spills or contamination incidents and communicate promptly using phone, handheld radios, pagers, and other devices

• Maintain a high levelof cleanliness within the hospital and adjacent buildings, which may require traveling between facilities independently

Qualifications

• One (1) year of knowledge within acute care hospital environmental service techniques, practices and procedures preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
