Lakewood Retirement Community-LifeSpire, in Richmond, VA, seeks an Environmental Services Supervisor - Housekeeping to lead daily housekeeping, floor care, and laundry operations within a full-time daytime schedule (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) with every other weekend. Up to $53,000/year based on experience.

The role focuses on leadership, supervision, and hands-on work to keep resident areas clean, safe, and welcoming while maintaining infection-control standards and collaborating with other departments.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of housekeeping or environmental services experience.
• Prior supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
• Able to read, write, and follow instructions; basic computer skills for scheduling and inventory tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in daily housekeeping, floor care, and laundry tasks.
• Assign daily work, coordinate schedules, and ensure staffing and productivity.
• Train and mentor staff on cleaning techniques, infection control, and safety.
• Conduct inspections to maintain cleanliness and quality standards; monitor equipment and supplies.
• Support a positive team environment and coordinate with other departments.
