Job summary

Lakewood in Richmond/Henrico, VA seeks a dependable Housekeeper for a full-time daytime role. Schedule is 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday with every other weekend. You will clean and maintain common areas, monitor cleanliness, and ensure supplies are stocked.

You will interact respectfully with residents and team members, follow procedures, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for our community.

Qualifications

• Dependable and detail-oriented.
• Willingness to work 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday–Friday with every other weekend.
• Able to read, write, and comprehend English.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned areas throughout the community.
• Regularly inspect areas for cleanliness and address issues.
• Maintain an adequate supply of cleaning materials and equipment.
• Keep cleaning supplies and equipment clean, organized, and accessible.
• Check cleaning equipment daily for proper operation.
• Report equipment malfunctions, damage, or safety concerns.
• Maintain housekeeping logs and records accurately and on time.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and schedules.
• Follow infection control, safety, and other policies.
• Interact respectfully with residents, guests, and team members.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
