Job summary

EnSafe Inc. seeks an Environmental Remediation Project Engineer to join our Florida offices in Tampa, Jacksonville, or Pensacola.

The role centers on leading remediation projects for soil, groundwater, and industrial waste, using innovative technologies while coordinating with engineers and regulators. You will plan assessments, oversee construction, evaluate data from tests and models, prepare design basises and reports, mentor teammates, and develop proposals and cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited college in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
• 7-15 years of relevant experience required.
• P.E. licensure is required.
• Strong knowledge of FDEP, CERCLA, RCRA, and related regulations.
• Hands-on remediation tech and O&M experience across soil, groundwater, stormwater, industrial wastewater, and air.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support remedial and process engineering projects and teams to fill data gaps, design, construct, operate, and optimize systems.
• Plan and perform assessments, pilot tests, construction oversight, and remedy O&M.
• Evaluate data from aquifer tests, pilot studies, bench testing, sampling events, and modeling to develop remedial strategies.
• Prepare, review, and mentor others in design basis, technology feasibility analyses, and design plans, specifications, and reports.
• Communicate with regulatory personnel and permitting agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide project and client management from small sites to large facilities.
• Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and long-term projections for remediation projects.
• Provide technical assistance across multiple offices, mentoring and contributing to corporate initiatives.
