Job summary

The Natural Resources Section of the U.S. Department of Justice seeks a senior-level attorney with extensive experience in natural resource, environmental, and cultural resource law and complex litigation. You must hold a J.D., be an active member of the bar, and be a U.S.

citizen or national. This position requires a minimum of 10 years of post-J.D. litigation experience and adherence to mandatory technical qualifications.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in natural resource, environmental, and cultural resource law and complex litigation.
• Experience reviewing the work products of attorneys and directing handling of complex litigation cases.
• Demonstrated experience writing clearly and communicating effectively with varied audiences.
• Record of complex case management and superb courtroom and negotiation skills.
