Wayne UNC Health Care is seeking an Environmental Services Lead to oversee daily cleaning of hospital areas, ensure supplies, and support operations on site at Wayne MED.
You will train teammates, act as supervisor when needed, and promote a safe, sanitary environment with a strong customer service mindset. This full-time role includes a 40-hour week, on-site work, and collaboration with the Environmental Services team to uphold quality standards.

The Environmental Services Lead provides daily cleaning of assigned areas of the hospital in accordance with established schedules, technical and administrative policies/procedures. The EVS Lead will assist with training and coverage for a supervisor or for other positions within the department. Performs duties which include, but are not limited to restocking of supplies, daily cleaning, vacuuming, disinfecting and other duties as assigned. The goal is to provide quality service to every patient, every time.
High School Diploma or equivalent required, any higher education from an accredited college will supersede this requirement.
A certification in cleaning preferred.
1 year of experience in environmental services or housekeeping preferred.
Valid NC Driver's License: No
If driving a Wayne UNC Vehicle, must be 21 years old and MVR must be approved by Risk Management.
