Job summary

EY in the United States seeks a Manager in Enterprise Security Architecture to lead client engagements across industry sectors, guiding architecture assessments, future-state design, and security governance.

You will mentor Senior Consultants, partner with CISOs and tech executives, and translate complex findings into actionable, executive-ready recommendations while balancing risk with business goals. Travel 25–50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IS, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience (or grad degree and 4+ years).
• Experience in enterprise security architecture assessments and future-state design.
• Experience in network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP), IAM, app security, data protection, and governance.
• Knowledge of NIST CSF/800-53, ISO 27001/27002, CIS Controls, SABSA.
• Experience supporting client-facing security architecture engagements, including workshops and executive reporting.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel 25–50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture engagements across industries, overseeing assessments and future-state design.
• Guide governance frameworks, standards, and security patterns embedding security into technology and business change.
• Collaborate with CISOs and executives to evaluate posture across network, cloud, data and identity.
• Mentor Senior Consultants and deliver high-quality client service within timelines and budgets.
