Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to drive the development of a Caterpillar ERP template and Dealer Integrations. You will own architecture deliverables, establish integration standards, and guide multiple development teams across D365 CRM and Finance & Operations.

This role blends strategy with hands-on delivery to improve dealer operations and customer experiences. You will lead a 4-5 person team, ensure high-quality standards, and collaborate with stakeholders

Qualifications

Experience leading large, enterprise-scale software teams.
Strong background in building integrations and ERP-related apps.
Knowledge of SDLC, architecture design and integration standards.
Proficient in Agile delivery and cross-functional alignment.
Experience with cloud services and iPaaS is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of 4-5 developers to implement dealer integrations.
Oversee ERP and Dealer Integration implementation to meet specs and Caterpillar standards.
Design, modify, and develop software applications using agile methods.
Acquire client requirements and optimize workflows through automation.
Write source code and enhance samples for existing applications.
