Job summary

enGen is seeking a technical and strategic leader to drive its Enterprise Data Protection program. You will set vision, architecture, and execution for data security, DLP, data classification, and encryption, partnering with security, cloud, and privacy teams.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, translate complex technical concepts into business risk, and guide the organization on strategic priorities and senior-level decisions.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years in Information Security / Information Risk Management / IT
• 7-10 years in communicating Information Security concepts to diverse audiences
• 1-3 years mentoring in a leadership role
• 1-3 years in staff management
• 1-3 years developing and executing strategic business objectives

Responsibilities

• Perform management responsibilities including hiring decisions, coaching, rewards and recognition, and performance management
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations; develop policies and programs; budgetary responsibility possible
• Provide oversight of project management; develop security solutions and options; ensure adherence to methodologies; coordinate resources and risk management
• Provide leadership to the department; drive organizational change; champion information security innovation; promote training on security issues
• Ensure compliance with Corporate and Information Security policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with all levels; prepare procedures, policies, reports and correspondence; assess security threats; manage budgets and resources
• Other duties as assigned or requested
