Job summary

NextGen Healthcare is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to own and modernize the enterprise data platform supporting Finance, Sales, HR and analytics. You will blend hands-on engineering with technical leadership, ensuring reliable, scalable data for close, executive reporting, AI initiatives and enterprise analytics.

You will administer Snowflake, AWS, and ETL pipelines, mentor engineers, and establish governance, quality, and automation standards across the BI and Data Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years enterprise data engineering experience with Snowflake, SQL, Informatica and Python.
• Experience designing enterprise data warehouses, dimensional models, and scalable ELT architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise Snowflake data platform including admin, security, RBAC, warehouse management, cost optimization, monitoring, performance tuning, and reliability.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Informatica, SQL, Python and cloud-native services.
• Define enterprise data architecture, integration standards, data modeling patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Lead data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and delivery for enterprise analytics.
• Support finance processes including month-end close, bookings, ARR, revenue, cost, reconciliations, and executive reporting.
