Job summary

KBR’s Enterprise Crypto Security Engineer will spearhead the design, development, and delivery of cryptographic units for space and ground systems in El Segundo, CA or Colorado Springs, CO. You will lead trade studies, oversee hardware/firmware integration, and ensure compliance with mission and cybersecurity standards.

The role includes mentoring engineers, coordinating with government customers and program leadership, and driving test campaigns across verification activities.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required for this position.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent.
• 7+ years' experience in systems engineering, crypto, cybersecurity, requirements, verification, integration and test.
• 7+ years' experience with crypto, NSA certification processes, and Key Management processes.
• 5+ years' experience with military/DoD/Intelligence Community space and ground systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in development, integration and delivery of space and ground cryptographic units.
• Lead cryptographic unit trade studies against requirements, interfaces, environment, performance and testability.
