Job summary

Aprecia Pharmaceuticals, LLC is seeking a Lead Application Engineer to drive the integration of ERP, SCADA, MES, LIMS, QMS, and CMMS systems in support of our 3D printing pharmaceutical manufacturing platforms. You will design and govern an integrated software architecture that is secure, scalable, and compliant with relevant regulations.

Reporting to cross-functional teams, you will oversee vendor management, implement integration solutions, and develop dashboards for critical manufacturing

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5–10 years of enterprise application integration experience in life sciences.
• Ignition/Sepasoft experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of Cloud vs on-premise architecture implications.
• Proficient in designing and implementing integration solutions using ESBs, API management platforms, and ETL/ELT tools.
• Hands-on experience with SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, and message queuing.
• Familiarity with security protocols such as authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
• IT hardware or electrical/controls engineering experience or similar cross-disciplinary skillset desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee selection and implementation across the full enterprise software architecture.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and stakeholders to understand integration requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships, including contracts, timelines, services, and deliverables.
• Ensure secure, compliant systems per cGMP and regulatory guidelines.
• Develop integration solutions using middleware technologies and API management tools.
• Maintain integration workflows, data mappings, and transformation rules.
• Oversee development and maintenance of dashboards highlighting critical manufacturing data.
• Troubleshoot integration issues to ensure high availability and performance.
• Document integration designs, configurations, and maintenance procedures.
• Stay updated with latest integration technologies and best practices.
