Job description

We're looking for a Senior Enterprise Systems Leader to take end-to-end ownership of a portfolio of mission-critical platforms — ERP, MES, CMMS, VMS, and more — across a regulated CDMO environment. Your biggest first major project will be to replace the full ERP for the business. You'll set the multi-year roadmap, govern the application landscape, and lead large-scale implementations while keeping every system inspection‑ready.

This is a hands‑on leadership position: you'll run a cross‑functional team of analysts, project managers, and technical writers, serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT, and drive integration, standardisation, and continuous improvement across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise systems portfolio — ERP, MES, CMMS, VMS and connected platforms
• Full rip and replace ERP project
• Multi‑year systems roadmap aligned to growth, manufacturing strategy, and regulatory requirements
• Integration architecture, data flows, and security models across the application ecosystem
• Computer System Assurance and Validation (CSA/CSV) for all regulated systems
• Create a high‑performing team and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Own executive stakeholder relationships, change management, and user adoption programmes

Key Requirements

• 12 – 15+ years managing enterprise systems across multiple platforms
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale ERP/MES implementations or replacement in pharma or life sciences
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Blue Mountain BMRAM, Kneat VMS, and/or commercial MES platforms
• Deep knowledge of GxP compliance — FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5, EU Annex 11
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams across complex, multi‑workstream programmes
• Strong communicator comfortable with both technical teams and executive leadership
